Childhood vaccinations are free and paid for by the health insurance.

Age

5 week pediatric examination

3 months vaccination

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio and Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib) infection (DTaP-IPV-Hib vaccination)
  • Pneumococcal disease (pneumococcal vaccination)

5 months vaccination + child examination

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio and Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib) infection (DTaP-IPV-Hib vaccination)
  • Pneumococcal disease (pneumococcal vaccination)

12 months vaccination+ childhood check-up

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio and Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib) infection (DTaP-IPV-Hib vaccination)
  • Pneumococcal disease (pneumococcal vaccination)

15 months vaccination

  • Measles, mumps and rubella (no. 1)

2 year child examination

3 year child examination

4 years vaccination + child examination

  • Measles, mumps and rubella (no. 2)

5 year vaccination + child examination

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and polio (DTaP-IPV revaccination)

12 years vaccination for both boys and girls

  • HPV vaccination - against cancer and genital warts (two vaccinations at least six months apart)

The offer is valid for:

  1. Girls from the age of 12 until they turn 18
  2. Boys who turn 12 years old on or after July 1, 2019 and until they turn 18 years old

People under the age of 15 must be vaccinated twice, at least five months apart. People aged 15 years or older should be vaccinated three times.

Catch up programs for boys and young men

  • As of February 1, 2020, the existing offer will be expanded to two additional groups. The offer is valid in 2020 and 2021 and applies to the following groups:
  • Boys who turned 12 years old in the period January 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019 (born in the period January 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007)
  • Young men who are male and between the ages of 18-25, as this group is at particular risk of developing anal cancer.
